Reviews arrive daily, but decisions are weekly. A good weekly ritual ensures feedback is interpreted as a whole, not one comment at a time, and creates a real improvement loop.
Single reviews are anecdotes; the weekly summary is decision data. Without the ritual you have data but no decisions.
30-minute format
- 10 min: last week’s summary cards and trends.
- 10 min: tag distribution and repeated themes.
- 5 min: read the three lowest-rated reviews aloud.
- 5 min: one concrete change for the coming week.
- Decision logged in Notion or similar.
Who should attend?
Owner, shift manager, kitchen representative and if possible a customer-relations lead. Few people but the right ones; enough authority to decide on the spot.
Action follow-up
If last week’s decision is not checked this week, the ritual quickly loses meaning. The first agenda item is always the previous week’s action items.

SSS / FAQ
Can the meeting be skipped on slow weeks?
No, but it can shrink to 15 minutes. Breaking the rhythm breaks the habit.
Should the team read reviews?
Sharing positive reviews motivates the team; sharing negatives respectfully and educationally drives improvement.
